Changes Coming to Cenex® Gasoline

Beginning January 1, 2027, Cenex^® gasoline will transition to the new TOP TIER™+ gasoline standard. TOP TIER™+ builds on the benefits of the current TOP TIER™ standard and includes additional performance testing for today’s engine technologies including gasoline direct-injection fuel systems.

Why TOP TIER™+ 

TOP TIER™+ is designed for today’s engine technologies. Its standards include additional engine tests intended to support cleaner fuel injectors, optimal emissions, and efficient combustion.
